A story to safeguard
The Family

Bel Cortile was born from an old 19th-century granary, built entirely in stone in the tradition of the Bassa Murgia. Its walls, up to a metre and a half thick, still keep the rooms naturally cool in summer and pleasantly welcoming in winter.

The restoration was guided by a simple idea: to preserve the soul of this place. We brought the original stone back to light, respected the spaces and enhanced every detail, introducing comfort and contemporary solutions with discretion, without ever altering its character. Today Bel Cortile is a home that tells its story through its materials, its silences and its authenticity. A place we have chosen to safeguard and that we are happy to share with those who wish to experience the truest Puglia.

Take a piece of the Masseria home

L'Ogliarola: olives grown on our own estate. Our oil is born from a precise choice: to put quality first, always. That is why we harvest the olives in early October, while they are still young and rich in aromas, even though it means a much lower yield. The olives are cold-pressed just hours after picking, to preserve all their natural qualities.

The result is an extra virgin olive oil with an intense, balanced flavour, able to convey the character of our land and the care with which we tend it. Every bottle holds the work of an entire season and the wish to bring an authentic oil to your table, made with no compromises.

Yes: the villa is rented as a whole, so the pool, the garden and the olive grove are for its guests only.

How far is it from Ostuni and the sea?

The centre of Ostuni is 9 km away, about 10 minutes by car. The sea, on the Ostuni coast, is 16-18 km away, about 25 minutes.

Do we need a car?

Yes, we recommend one: the villa is in the countryside, among the olive trees. Ostuni railway station is 12 km away.

Which is the nearest airport?

Brindisi, 47 km away, about 50 minutes by car. Bari is 98 km away, about an hour and a half.

What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3:00 PM (please let us know your arrival time); check-out is by 10:00 AM.

What is there in the house?

Wi-Fi, air conditioning in every room, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, towels, a barbecue and private parking.

Can we bring pets? And children?

Pets are not allowed. Children of all ages are welcome, with a high chair and safety gates.
